As most of my fans/followers know, I've been making Hollywood movies lately. A few months ago I filmed some scenes in Steve Carell's upcoming movie entitled "Battle of The Sexes" and also filmed a scene for an episode of "Love & Hip-Hop: Hollywood".
Then I made an announcement about 3 weeks ago that something big may or may not happen. I was trying to be in Adam Sandler's next movie! He has always been one of my favorite actors/comedians of all time dating all the way back to Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore, and The Waterboy.
Well after about 6 or so emails, I finally got through to the producers of Adam Sandler's newest movie and got to film scenes for his latest movie! And you want to know what the coolest part is?
They paid me to be in the movie! That's right, I finally got to live out one of my dreams of being in an Adam Sandler movie AND I got paid for it (really good money actually)! They even wanted me to return and film more scenes the very next day (which I did)! Here is a video of me meeting Adam Sandler for the first time...

When I arrived on set, I was informed that I was promoted to be the trainer of Terry Crews aka " Bedtime" Bobby Barnes! The next day, I reprised my role as his trainer (there were 3 in total) and we got some cool scenes with Adam Sandler and Terry Crews. I had worked 16 hours on set on Tuesday and 17 hours on Wednesday for a total of 33 hours! And yes they paid us overtime/double time and fed us breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The time went by really fast though as we were all having fun, but also concentrating on perfecting our scenes.
Then I found out that the guy who picked my costume for the Adam Sandler movie got confirmation that my scenes from both days will be featured and that I am entitled to more pay because of it (hence the reason we filmed the same scenes for about 4 hours).
I had also just got done filming an intense scene where Terry Crews gets brutally beat down and thrown out of the ring by former WWE star Rikishi, and I'm leaning over the railing begging him to get up and fight! I'm pretty much the only one in a trainer's outfit leaning over the barricade so it shouldn't be that hard to spot me ;). Speaking of Terry Crews, here is a video of him giving us props after 33 hours of filming...

Also I was literally less than 10 feet from Adam Sandler on set. This still feels like a dream. Never thought I'd be working this closely with him. Also, someone said I resembled him a lot. Maybe that's why I landed such a prominent role. Also today my casting director said she was trying to get me a SAG (Screen Actors Guild) voucher for this Wednesday! If I get 3 in total, I will be eligible to join the SAG and be entitled to more pay! I will keep you guys updated. In the meantime, check out this video of Adam Sandler thanking is for being in his latest movie...

There is a 90 percent chance I will return to film more scenes with Adam Sandler this Wednesday. I'll let you guys know for sure...

I thought the 'meeting Adam Sandler' scene would be more of a meeting, like a handshake or something. :) Still cool though, and playing the role of Terry Crew's trainer sounds like the really HUGE thing here!! That is truly awesome.
Are you allowed to film footage back-stage like this btw? Congrats again; good luck on Wednesday!

I saw he was busy so I didn't want to rush over to him. Besides, I knew I'd be filming scenes with him and I got to interact with him more on set. And yes, me being the trainer of Terry Crews was definitely the big news for me! He made me laugh countless times on set! There was a part where Terry had to hit the camera with a steel chair and when he did, the camera man fell back a little.
Terry says "you OK? I don't want a lawsuit!" then everyone starts busting up! Then Terry laughs and says "I usually get the letter in the mail and by then its already too late"! Then after one of our scenes I pat him on the back and said "good job, Crews!" then he looks at me, smiles, nods his head and says "that's right"! Then after another scene he walked over to me and gave me a high five! Dude is a class act. Oh and I promise you guys will love Terry in this movie! He brought that "White Chicks" vibe on set and he's gonna get another song stuck in your head ;)
Adam Sandler was also one of the nicest guys on set as well! He actually liked how i played my role, hence the reason he wanted me to reprise it the next day. After we had filmed a very important scene in the movie he said "excuse my language guys but that was FUCKIN' AWESOME"! He was not only funny on set, but he is also one of the nicest guys in person. He was very friendly and I thank him for giving me an opportunity of a lifetime.
And as far as recording backstage, you can do it as long as you're not recording scenes and spoiling the movie. FYI, I know the whole script and how the movie actually ends, but I won't be spoiling it. You guys just have to watch it for yourself :)
Oh and thanks for the support, I appreciate it!
