I'm in the new Adam Sandler movie entitled "Sandy Wexler". I play a Prison Guard and a trainer. I've also worked with John Witherspoon (Ice Cube's dad from Friday) and Slink Johnson (voice of Lamar from Grand Theft Auto 5 and the star of Black Jesus).

Landed a paid role in the new Adam Sandler movie!

Posted by Vinstigator - September 20th, 2016

As most of my fans/followers know, I've been making Hollywood movies lately. A few months ago I filmed some scenes in Steve Carell's upcoming movie entitled "Battle of The Sexes" and also filmed a scene for an episode of "Love & Hip-Hop: Hollywood".

Then I made an announcement about 3 weeks ago that something big may or may not happen. I was trying to be in Adam Sandler's next movie! He has always been one of my favorite actors/comedians of all time dating all the way back to Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore, and The Waterboy.

Well after about 6 or so emails, I finally got through to the producers of Adam Sandler's newest movie and got to film scenes for his latest movie! And you want to know what the coolest part is?

They paid me to be in the movie! That's right, I finally got to live out one of my dreams of being in an Adam Sandler movie AND I got paid for it (really good money actually)! They even wanted me to return and film more scenes the very next day (which I did)! Here is a video of me meeting Adam Sandler for the first time...

http://youtube.com/watch?v=nGy_VEutYRo

When I arrived on set, I was informed that I was promoted to be the trainer of Terry Crews aka " Bedtime" Bobby Barnes! The next day, I reprised my role as his trainer (there were 3 in total) and we got some cool scenes with Adam Sandler and Terry Crews. I had worked 16 hours on set on Tuesday and 17 hours on Wednesday for a total of 33 hours! And yes they paid us overtime/double time and fed us breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The time went by really fast though as we were all having fun, but also concentrating on perfecting our scenes.

Then I found out that the guy who picked my costume for the Adam Sandler movie got confirmation that my scenes from both days will be featured and that I am entitled to more pay because of it (hence the reason we filmed the same scenes for about 4 hours).

I had also just got done filming an intense scene where Terry Crews gets brutally beat down and thrown out of the ring by former WWE star Rikishi, and I'm leaning over the railing begging him to get up and fight! I'm pretty much the only one in a trainer's outfit leaning over the barricade so it shouldn't be that hard to spot me ;). Speaking of Terry Crews, here is a video of him giving us props after 33 hours of filming...

Also I was literally less than 10 feet from Adam Sandler on set. This still feels like a dream. Never thought I'd be working this closely with him. Also, someone said I resembled him a lot. Maybe that's why I landed such a prominent role. Also today my casting director said she was trying to get me a SAG (Screen Actors Guild) voucher for this Wednesday! If I get 3 in total, I will be eligible to join the SAG and be entitled to more pay! I will keep you guys updated. In the meantime, check out this video of Adam Sandler thanking is for being in his latest movie...

There is a 90 percent chance I will return to film more scenes with Adam Sandler this Wednesday. I'll let you guys know for sure...

I thought the 'meeting Adam Sandler' scene would be more of a meeting, like a handshake or something. :) Still cool though, and playing the role of Terry Crew's trainer sounds like the really HUGE thing here!! That is truly awesome.

Are you allowed to film footage back-stage like this btw? Congrats again; good luck on Wednesday!

I saw he was busy so I didn't want to rush over to him. Besides, I knew I'd be filming scenes with him and I got to interact with him more on set. And yes, me being the trainer of Terry Crews was definitely the big news for me! He made me laugh countless times on set! There was a part where Terry had to hit the camera with a steel chair and when he did, the camera man fell back a little.

Terry says "you OK? I don't want a lawsuit!" then everyone starts busting up! Then Terry laughs and says "I usually get the letter in the mail and by then its already too late"! Then after one of our scenes I pat him on the back and said "good job, Crews!" then he looks at me, smiles, nods his head and says "that's right"! Then after another scene he walked over to me and gave me a high five! Dude is a class act. Oh and I promise you guys will love Terry in this movie! He brought that "White Chicks" vibe on set and he's gonna get another song stuck in your head ;)

Adam Sandler was also one of the nicest guys on set as well! He actually liked how i played my role, hence the reason he wanted me to reprise it the next day. After we had filmed a very important scene in the movie he said "excuse my language guys but that was FUCKIN' AWESOME"! He was not only funny on set, but he is also one of the nicest guys in person. He was very friendly and I thank him for giving me an opportunity of a lifetime.

And as far as recording backstage, you can do it as long as you're not recording scenes and spoiling the movie. FYI, I know the whole script and how the movie actually ends, but I won't be spoiling it. You guys just have to watch it for yourself :)

Oh and thanks for the support, I appreciate it!

Woah, that's awesome! I'm definitely gonna have to watch this one.

Thanks Tom, that means a lot coming from you! Just know that I never forgot about you or Newgrounds! If it wasn't for NG I wouldn't have had such a huge fanbase for my music and in turn, would have never had as much motivation and support! I appreciated you and NG so much that I even had Shigeru Miyamoto himself give a shout out, remember?

http://youtube.com/watch?v=-rVCm9wvLPQ

Plus I will never forget the day you put most of my Chrono Trigger movies in the CT collections! It meant so much to me and It helped me get over 30,000 views per movie and a bigger fanbase as well (which has always been your goal), so I am forever grateful for that! If you need anything, please don't hesitate to ask! I would love to help NG in any way I can.

And hopefully when I become a bigger Hollywood star, I can help you out a lot more! Because my casting director is going to keep me busy, so expect to see me in a lot more TV Shows and movies! She is currently trying to help me get into the Screen Actors Guild (SAG), which means bigger roles and a bigger paycheck! By the way, the name of the movie I am in is entitled "Sandy Wexler" and it will premiere on Netflix in 2017. What's cool is that his last movie (The Do-Over) was the most watched Netflix movie in history for the month of may and June (and is currently still in the top 10), so I expect Sandy Wexler to have the same success! I will keep you updated on the actual release date! Also, check out these pics I took of Terry Crews' character...

Once again, thank you! I've appreciated everything you've done for me in the past 10 plus years! I went from making flash movies, to Hollywood movies :)

Oh, this wasn't a joke post.
Well then congrats man!

Nope, it wasn't ;)
And thanks!

Nice read. :) I haven't seen White Chicks though, will put that on my watchlist too. Both Terry and Adam sound like great people! Haha yeah, no doubt I'll be watching this as soon as we get it! :D Good knowing.

They are 2 of the nicest guys I've ever met, and that includes pretty much everyone I've met in my lifetime! Shigeru Miyamoto is up there as well :)

And you need to watch White Chicks ASAP! Terry Crews steals the show! Check out 3 scenes from the movie. This first one made everyone associate this song with the White Chicks movie and Terry Crews lol

This next one is the "restaurant" scene...

And here is the scene where Shawn Wayans pretends to be Terry Crews in order to impress a girl he really likes...

Oh and here is Terry Crews reenacting his famous scene from White Chicks...

http://youtube.com/watch?v=Tlp8nTkj0no

So yeah, go watch White Chicks as soon as you can! It'll be in your too 10 comedies for sure :)

Terry Crews is awesome, that's nuts that you play his trainer. Gonna be kinda surreal to watch this!

I couldn't believe it myself until I started filming scenes with him and Adam! It's a non-speaking role, but I am prominently featured at ringside, giving Terry Crews instructions on what moves to do! And I'm featured in the backstage scene that follows directly after the main event (talking with the other trainers). What's cool is that he trained with a former WWE superstar so he could perform all the wrestling moves himself!

And it's been making headlines all over the wrestling world! You know what the coolest part about me being Terry Crews' trainer in the movie is? I got to lean on front row barricade the whole time and watch Shad train Terry for hours!

Also got to see them do the scenes over and over again. I felt like I was front row at WrestleMania! I was actually so close to the action that I almost got hit with a steel chair when Crews hit Rikishi over the head!

And yes, I can confirm that was indeed a legit chair shot! Rikishi told Crews "don't hold back, give me all you got. I've been doing this for years". I literally got paid to watch a wrestling match rehearsal and be part of it in the movie. This is definitely the coolest job ever! Check out the article below...

It was such an honor working with a comedic legend like Terry! I remember first seeing him on the big screen in 2002 when my Uncle and I went to see "Friday After Next" in theaters, and instantly became a fan for life after seeing how funny he was with Katt Williams ("WAIT A MINUTE I'M A PIMP" LOL). Same with Adam Sandler! I remember my Uncle taking me to see The Waterboy and Big Daddy in theaters and I've been watching Adam Sandler movies ever since (latest one I saw was Pixels). And now, everything's come full circle because I am now filming a movie with both of them! And once again, Terry Crews is gonna get another song stuck in your head ;)

My casting director actually wanted to book me to film more scenes today and yesterday. Unfortunately, my car was too new of a model (2006 Toyota Corolla) and she needed me to have a 1994 model or older (1993, 1992, 1991, etc.) since the scene takes place in 1994. She even said I would have gotten a $75 SAG bonus just for bringing the car on set! So instead, I helped her book drivers! And in return, she is trying to get me an even better scene in the movie, including a possible scene with Adam Sandler himself! Here is the e-mail she sent me a couple of days ago...

If I can get 3 Union vouchers in total, I will be eligible to join the Screen Actors Guild! Also, Jose aka MindChamber is a good friend of mine. He's been a supporter of my music for years and even bought both of my singles on iTunes. He's really excited about this as well and said he would tell all of his friends to watch it when it gets released. Appreciate the support from both of you! And I promise to give 110 percent every time I'm on set! Opportunities like this don't come around too often...

Shigeru the legend! :D Gotta tell that story sometime!

Looks crazy. XD Will do, and thanks for the clips.

Anytime!

Just when you thought I couldn't have bigger news than me playing the trainer of Terry Crews, this happens!

http://www.newgrounds.com/dump/item/cfb2ddc47d61a299b456740808b8f472

That's right, Adam Sandler brought me back to film scenes as a prison guard! So now I play 2 roles in this movie! How cool is that? And the best part is that it will officially be my first SAG voucher, which means I only need 2 more to join the Screen Actors Guild! Since it is a union set, I will get union pay (pretty much double of what a Non-Union member makes) and I will also receive union benefits as well! Also heard it might be an actual speaking role with Adam Sandler himself! This is definitely my biggest opportunity yet...

Congrats dude! Glad to see hard work pay off! Wooo!

Thanks, I appreciate the support! And yes, hard work does indeed pay off :)

You gotten work in hollywood?

Hollywood is such a closed off system to outsiders.

This is rare opportunity that most people will never experience.

congratulations

Thanks! And yes, it took a lot of hard work, dedication, and persistence to get where I'm at. And you're right, most people will never experience this extremely rare opportunity. Even with my Hollywood connections, I still wasn't guaranteed a spot. But the higher ups decided to give me a chance, and I took it...
